Each component that has been developed by Project Aero has undergone harsh testing, paired with countless hours of research and development. Can I install it myself?

Certainly! The install can be executed in your garage at home with simple hand tools. However, if you do not feel comfortable doing this, we recommend professional installation by a reputable panel shop or mechanic.

Project Aero have tried and tested all our products so you can be confident it fits. We do not take responsibility for modified or mis-shaped front bumpers, side skirts or rear bumpers. Please ensure that your OEM hardware has not been cross threaded or that your vehicle has not been involved in a collision prior to purchasing.
Will I have to drill holes?

We have strategically placed the location of the drilled holes for maximum strength and rigidity. Our products come with pre-drilled holes for your convenience, making the installation process seamless. However, depending on make and model, some holes will need to be drilled into the bumpers and side skirts to secure and fit the product(s).
Can you make custom one-off parts?

Generally speaking, no, unless you are located on the Gold Coast, QLD. We use a state-of-the-art 3D scanner and would need to physically scan the car in person for us to create custom and one off parts.
Can your lip kits be painted?

All our Front Lips, Side Skirt Extensions and Rear Spats are finished in satin black. The material we use can be painted any colour you like. We suggest going through your preferred local paint shop.
Why is the underside of the lip kit a different finish?
Why is the underside of the lip kit a different finish?
The underside of high density polyethylene sheets can look different because of how the plastic is formed and finished in manufacturing. One face is smoothed by contact with tooling or protected film, while the other isn’t.

No, we don't have a dealer network. We can however recommend certain companies for installation. However, to pass on the best possible price for our customers, the best way is to sell direct to the consumer.
Are your bash plates made from aluminium?
Are your bash plates made from aluminium?
Yes, they are. Aluminium is the ideal material for bash plates, offering an excellent balance of strength and lightweight performance.
Please note: Bash plates feature two distinct surface finishes due to the aluminium manufacturing process. The shiny side is the finished face and is designed to face downward toward the ground, remaining visible once installed. The opposite face is the raw side, which faces upward and is not visible after installation.
This variation in surface finish is a result of how aluminium sheet is produced. During rolling and finishing, one side of the material is in contact with polished rollers or tooling, creating a smoother, brighter surface. The opposite side does not receive the same level of surface contact or finishing, leaving it with a rougher, matte appearance that may show light scuffing or marks from handling and processing. These cosmetic differences are normal and do not affect the structural integrity, strength, or performance of the bash plate.
In summary: Sheets come in from the supplier with one good side. In some rare cases you can get some sheets with it on both sides, however the lasers can’t process it properly as the gas that passes through tends to peel it off the underside.
The slats (supports under the sheet) when cutting, can cause slight marking on the back of the sheet (raw side). This combined with the lismac to debur the edge means you lose that “shine” from the sheet on the raw side.

What happens with pre-orders?
What happens with pre-orders?
Pre-orders run for two weeks. Once pre-orders finish, production then begins to take place. Project Aero estimates roughly two to three weeks for production (generally quicker). Your order is then packaged and ready to be picked up by one of our couriers. We will send you tracking details once shipping is confirmed.

We aim for 5-10 business days on our lip kits, front lips, side skirt extensions and rear spats.
Everything else is either in stock ready to go, or if it is out of stock, it will be re-stocking soon!
If you order over the Christmas & New Year period, expect longer turn-around times due to this being Australia's holiday shutdown period.

Domestic Shipping: 3-5 Business Days (7 business days for W.A).
Overseas Shipping: 7-14 Business Days.

Unfortunately not, we are e-commerce only.
What do I need to know about International Shipping?
What do I need to know about International Shipping?
Shipping partners: We use Aramex who partner with UPS for international shipping. Once your order has been packed and tracking has updated, your parcel will move locally within Australia from QLD to Sydney NSW before switching over to a UPS tracking number and boarding a flight to your country.
Tariffs: Project Aero is not liable to pay any tariffs or duties/charges, this is the customers responsibility. Each country has a different tariff rate. The USA will suspend the de minimis exemption for all low-value imports to the USA from 29th August 2025. As a result, all goods valued at $US800 or less will be subject to country-specific tariff rates.
Customs: We’ll get your order on its way quickly, but any import taxes, duties, or delays at customs are handled by your country’s border services in which we do not have control over. In busy periods such as Black Friday and Christmas, shipping can sometimes be delayed.
Unfortunately, shipping is out of our control and we do not operate a shipping company.

If your tracking number isn't working, this is likely because we have just created the label and the item hasn't been picked up by our courier yet.
We suggest waiting at least 2 x business days before checking back with the tracking number.
We use Aramex (for big orders & small USA orders) & Australia Post (for all other small orders).
